Rodimus Prime

Rodimus Prime is the upgraded, reformatted form of the youthful Autobot Hot Rod, and the Chosen One of Autobot legend who would rise from their ranks and open the Matrix of Leadership to "light [their] darkest hour", marking him as the new Autobot commander.

Although Rodimus speaks with the savvy voice of a seasoned veteran, in truth, at his heart, he is still Hot Rod, and bears the burden of leadership heavily, constantly second-guessing himself and feeling that he can never live up to the legacy of Optimus Prime. He can, on occasion, be hot-headed, tending to act first and ask questions later, but he has dedicated himself to the preservation of life in its myriad forms. He transforms into a futuristic recreational vehicle (resembling 1980 concept car, the Citroën Penthouse CX) and in robot mode, wields a photon eliminator that shoots high voltage electricity.

Side Burn

Side Burn (Speedbreaker in Japan) is the youngest and fastest of the Autobot Brothers, Side Burn rockets down highways in his Dodge Viper mode for fun, in pursuit of an enemy - or chasing after his latest flame. Because that's Side Burn's greatest weakness: the ladies. Every time he sees a little red sports car, he falls in love all over again, but can't seem to comprehend that Earth cars aren't alive. His older brothers are Prowl and X-Brawn. His Japanese name, Speedbreaker, is also used on a variant of his tech spec bio (although his picture and tech spec data retain the Side Burn name on the same package).

Springer

He is a green Autobot Triple Changer who can transform into both a Cybertronian car and a helicopter. So named for the massive leaping power in his legs, Springer is one of Rodimus Prime's inner circle. More laid back than many of his allies, he is nonetheless brave, loyal and always ready with a sharp quip in battle. He is optimistic and good humored.

Ratchet

Ratchet (Ratchet/Mécano in Canada, Racsni in Hungary and Doc in Italy) is the chief medic of the Autobots in the Transformers television and comic series based on the popular toy line produced by Takara and Hasbro. His vehicle mode is an ambulance. Named after Nurse Ratched by Bob Budiansky, Ratchet is well-remembered by fans of the original comic series, in which he played a major role.

Ratchet would transform into an ambulance (cargo van type) and was colored white with red stripes and emergency lights. Ratchet had two robot modes, though only one was usually seen in the comic run and the television cartoon. The Ratchet toy transformed into the second form. Ratchet was one of the original and the longest-lived of all Transformers in the Marvel Transformers comic series. Often a fan favorite, he was a healer first, but a soldier nonetheless. His courage and loyalty are demonstrated time and again.

Prowl

Prowl (Cervo in Canada, Pantera in Italy) is an Autobot of many virtues - he is quiet, competent, loyal, and possessed of almost endless patience. When Optimus Prime appoints Prowl a task, he can be guaranteed that it will be completed to the best of Prowl's ability. Prowl is not given to speculation or estimation - the only realm in which he will work is that of the proven fact; if he can't explain it, he will not believe it. He hates doubt, and strives to make a situation as simple and logical as possible, purging excesses of concern from his mind by going to Optimus Prime for assurance. Prowl is friendly, but only as a listener; as a talker, he is not so sociable, entering a conversation usually only when someone makes an unreasonable remark, and demanding an explanation.
