i want to customize some transformers figures but i dont know what kinds of paints im supposed to use. i need brands and such. i also need to know where i can get them. i live in CO, colorado springs. and what kinds of brushes do i use?
Acrylic paints I've heard work best for the die cast metal ones. For the plastic ones you might just want to go with any standard model paint. As for brushes, you'll probably want to use smaller brushes for the finer detailing and larger brushes for pieces you're doing in solid color.
If you're only painting small details don't forget masking tape. Also let each coat dry separately before applying the next.
