Optimus Prime is a character from Transformers. He is the leader of the Autobots. The Autobots come from a planet called Cybertron. They battle and war against the sinister Decepticons. The Autobots existence is threatened by the ruthless Decepticons, so they have to continually struggle for their home planet and the right to live there peacefully. Optimus Prime has always been recognized the most, and has become the most popular of all the Transformers. Within the Transformers universe, he is known to be fiercely brave and loyal, and is depicted as the heroic leader who yearns to save the world around him. The evil forces are led by the nefarious Megatron, who seeks to destroy the human race and control the world, to separate the weak from the strong, and become the destructive leader he has always sought to become.

Originally, Optimus Prime transformed into a cab over semi truck. Optimus Prime is armed with a laser rifle, and contains within his chest a mystic talisman referred to as the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. The Truck Trailer is a disconnecting piece that serves as a combat deck, a command station with a separate auto-launcher robot that carries various beam and artillery weapons. It also allows communication between the Autobots. Roller, Prime's third component, is a scout buggy that can maneuver behind enemy lines. A variety of interpretations have been brought up throughout the years for the make and design of Optimus Prime himself.

HASBRO celebrates the legacy and popularity of this character by revealing a new action figure that features Automorph technology that has never been revealed before. Battle mode is even more easily transformed to by the partially mechanically animated triggers that enhance the transformation mode. Projectiles can be launched from his very own weapon. There are also sounds that can be played when it is in vehicle mode, such as the horn and several lights. Batteries are included with this action figure.

Retail priced at $40.00, this new action figure by HASBRO makes for a very enjoyable and affordable toy for anyone's fun and enjoyment. It can even be a mark of pride for any avid collector of such things. This figure would also be an excellent gift for Christmas, as everyone is making their wishes for what they want. Any kid would be more than happy to have this fine and highly adventurous action figure. Any store or shop close by should have this particular action figure.
